Terms and Conditions for Solar PV Maintenance Service Packages
Scope of Services
The services included in each package are outlined in the package descriptions. Additional tasks outside the scope of the chosen package will be charged separately.
Any repairs or replacements identified during the service are not included in the package price unless explicitly stated.
Pricing
All prices are starting estimates and apply to systems up to 4kW. Larger or more complex systems may incur additional costs, which will be confirmed during the initial consultation.
Prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
Service Schedule
Customers must provide access to the property at the agreed-upon date and time. Failure to do so may result in a rescheduling fee.
Services may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
System Requirements
The customer must ensure the solar system is accessible and in safe working condition.
Systems must be installed according to industry standards and compliant with local regulations.
Performance Limitations
While maintenance can optimise system performance, Green Tech Solar does not guarantee specific energy output improvements as factors such as weather and system age may impact results.
Warranty and Liability
Maintenance services do not affect or replace manufacturer warranties.
Green Tech Solar is not liable for pre-existing faults, damage caused by improper use, or external factors such as extreme weather.
Payment Terms
Full payment for the chosen package is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
For additional work identified during the service, an itemised quote will be provided, and work will only proceed upon customer approval.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee of £80 for Bronze service package, £130 for a Silver service package and £150 for Gold service package.
Green Tech Solar reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control.
Add-Ons
Optional add-ons (e.g., real-time monitoring installation, battery health checks) must be pre-booked and may extend the duration of the service visit.
Reporting
Detailed reports, including inspection results and performance testing data will be provided upon completion of the service and dependent on service package purchased.
Privacy Policy
Customer information will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and used solely for service delivery and communication purposes.
Disputes and Complaints
Any disputes or complaints must be raised in writing within 14 days of service completion. Green Tech Solar will endeavour to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
Force Majeure
Green Tech Solar is not responsible for delays or failures in service caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, labour disputes, or supply chain interruptions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
